Prepare to suit up for fashion’s biggest night.
Anna Wintour will be in good company come the first Monday in May next year as a group of distinguished gentlemen will join her as co-chairs for the 2025 Met Gala—set to be held May 5, 2025.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art announced that A$AP Rocky, Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton and Pharrell Williams are set to co-chair the event with the Vogue boss. In addition, LeBron James will be an honorary co-chair.
What’s more, the museum announced the name of the Costume Institute’s Spring 2025 exhibition “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.” This year’s exhibition is inspired by Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity, written by Monica L. Miller. The exhibition will include clothes and photographs that highlight Black men’s style and dandyism (a man who is known for his elegance, fashion, and exaggerated manners) from the 18th century to present time.
And that’s why Anna’s co-chairs couldn’t have been more perfect.

Pharell is not only a Grammy-winning producer but currently serves as the men’s creative director at Louis Vuitton. The “Happy” singer has appeared at the gala six times and previously served as a co-chair in 2015. For his part, A$AP Rocky has made multiple appearances alongside his girlfriend, Rihanna.
Colman, who consistency brings his style A-Game to award season, made his Met Gala debut in 2024. And Lewis—who brought fashion to the sport of Formula 1—has been a regular since 2015.
King James’ role as honorary co-chair comes as he will walk the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and attend the gala for the first time. So far, the theme for the star-studded event has yet to be announced.
For the 2024 event, the stars were in full bloom for “The Garden of Time” theme and the exhibition was “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.” Bad Bunny, Zendaya, Chris Hemsworth and Jennifer Lopez all joined Anna as co-chairs.
The Thor star, who made his debut walking the floral carpet alongside wife Elsa Pataky, couldn’t help but marvel over the collection of fashion-forward attendees at the museum. And he was happy to document the occasion.
Noting he left with "heaps of selfies," Chris added, "Selfies everywhere. A lot of selfies in my phone. Like, 'When did I take that? Let's delete that one.'"
While you’ll have to wait a bit longer for 2025’s theme, take a look back to see how the celebrities interpreted 2024’s theme…
